Hello, folks. This is the Beginning Excel blog and I am Arief Hendra Saptadi – or simply, Arief – the main author. This blog, as the name implies, mainly covers the essential parts or the basics of Excel. Though this doesn’t mean to turn down any opportunity to discuss a more “advanced” topic

I decided to set up a blog focused on Microsoft Excel (or Excel), since it is the most frequently-used spreadsheet application to this day and there aren’t many blogs that cover the subject in details with plain and simple approach. I realized that out there, there might be the ones who still learn to use Excel for the first time or the ones that are capable to operate the PC or laptop, but have no idea about how to use Excel. For these people, this blog is dedicated to. But if you’re not a novice or have learnt Microsoft Excel a bit (or much) previously, I’d like to throw one or more ideas – usually about Excel application in daily life – that you might find interesting.

Got a problem or question in Excel? I’d like to hear one and see if I (or other readers) can come up with solution or answer. I’m only a casual Excel user but I’d like to try one and that could serve as an idea for a post, too
